Skin Checks

Skin cancers occur due to damage of skin cells from exposure to UV radiation in sunlight. Australians have one of the highest incidences of skin cancers in the world, up to 3 times higher than the UK, US, and Canada.

Regular skin cancer surveillance checks with a detailed examination can help identify any potential problems early on. The sooner a skin cancer is detected and treated, the better your chances of avoiding potentially disfiguring surgery.

Our doctors have specialised training in the detection and management of skin cancers. Worrisome lesions can be biopsied or excised in our treatment rooms (this may require scheduling an additional appointment).
